Now an Ancestor, Baba Babot te Ngwokwong – a father whose life embodied the spirit of compassion, resilience, and service to others.
Though born and raised without formal education, Baba Babot upheld the values of his traditions and culture – Ubuntu. As a farmer, devoted his life to uplifting those around him — educated his children and sponsored the less priviledge in his village, supporting widows and orphans, and building a church that became a sanctuary of hope for many.
Father of youth, as written in his Will, he was buried by the youth — a profound act of gratitude and respect for a man who believed so strongly in their future.
