AfrikAktiv Annual Conference 2026 is schedule to take place in August during the AfrikaFestival Tübingen weekend August 06 – 09, 2026 “Empowering Communities through culture: 20 yrs of AfrikAktiv and the Road Ahead. AfrikAktivs members, associations, groups shall come together to reflect on the way forward – we expect inspirational discussions, presentations, reflections and exchange
This shall be the first face -to-face meeting after the Covid period, while the COVID period helped us remain connected online, the conference shall clearly demonstrated how essential human contact is for strengthening our community.
Marking 20 years of AfrikAktiv and its activities, the conference shall highlight significant progress achieved for the Diaspora community. At the same time, statistics remind us that much work remains to be done and that existing achievements must be protected.
