The Africa We Want Network Germany is a project of AfrikAktiv e.V nonprofit organization aimed at creating awareness about the Africa Union’s Agenda 2063 ( An integrated, Prosperous and peaceful Africa, driven by its own citizens and representing a dynamic force in the global arena) promoting a strong African identity rooted in heritage, knowledge, and self-determination; both on the continent and within the diaspora.
ABOUT US:
AfrikAktiv e.V is a german base registered nonprofit organization founded in 2006 by Susan Tatah, aimed at fostering integration through African culture. Its signature project – AfrikaFestival Tübingen Germany, is Germany’s one of the biggest African diaspora cultural festival established since 2007 and has hosted 25. editions.
AfrikAktiv e.V’s core competence is “Volunteering” since it’s creation – its activties and projects have been sustained through volunteering.
As a Diaspora Led initiative, TAWWN serves as a digital space for sharing AfrikAktive’s nonprofit works and platforms with the African Community in Germany, Europe, Africa and Diasporas. Goal is to inspire and motivate interested – Join and become TAWWN Member.

About TAWWN: In celebrating 25. Editions of AfrikaFestival Tübingen, AfrikAktiv e.V has launched TAWWN with objectives to provide knowledge based solutions to its members.
For more than two decades, with our nonprofit work, we have gained enormous experiences and expertise to empower others. TAWWN is a membership project offering solutions to its members.
